Herbal Medicine

A Curandero or curandera can be a specialist in traditional herbal medicine or can administer and provide mental, emotional and spiritual support. They can also be sobadores (massagers) or parteras (midwives) and have many other specialties. These ancient traditions and powerful rituals have been passed down from generation to generation, and in my case, from my grandmother to my mother and me.

Both my grandmother Angelita and Mother Lucia were herbalist and I too inherited the knowledge of the benefits of herbal medicine to address a variety of aliments.
